The Rotary Ampoule Washing Machine efficiently cleans ampoules both inside and out using an automated process. The machine starts by securely holding and inverting the ampoules with grippers. Servo-driven nozzles are inserted vertically into the ampoules for interior cleaning once they have been rotated. This cleaning takes place at six different stations within protective shields and includes three types of water washes: recycled water for a preliminary wash, purified water for a thorough cleaning, and Water for Injection (WFI) for the most critical cleaning step. Between each water wash, air washes are applied to remove any remaining water, making that the ampoules are dry and clean.
Apart from interior cleaning, the machine also uses a combination of water and air washes to clean the ampoules outside surfaces. This complete cleaning procedure is managed and controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system, which provides precision, efficiency, and consistency throughout the operation. In overall, the Rotary Ampoule Washing Machine makes sure ampoules have been properly cleaned on the inside and outside so they are ready for use.
