Ointment Filling Machine

For external use on skin or mucous membranes, an ointment is a semi-solid, homogenous mixture that is typically a thick oil (oil 80% - water 20%) with a high viscosity. The maximum amount of water that an ointment can contain is defined by its water number. Emollients or active compounds applied to the skin for protective, therapeutic, or preventive reasons, or when some level of occlusion is required, are examples of their uses.
